ST. URSULA'S
The Parish Community:
 The magnificent St. Ursula's Church and Community Centre in The Valley, Virgin Gorda is the result of the vision and determination of Fr. Jack Whyte and his generous benefactors. For years the Church had owned a prominent hill in the middle of the main population center of Virgin Gorda but it was deemed as too expensive to construct any Church on it. Fr. Whyte made it his mission to raise the money necessary to build a Church for the small Catholic Community on Virgin Gorda and in 1988 it was at last realized. Celebrating Mass high on the hill at St. Ursula's certainly makes you feel "one step closer to God!"
