MARY STAR OF THE SEA
The Parish:
 Our second Parish Priest, Fr. Jack Whyte, started celebrating Sunday Mass in a small shed at East End. As the numbers grew so to did the dream of building a Church to minister to the people who lived at the East End of the island. Waterfront land was donated and in 1992 Fr. Joe Bates began work on a new Church that was blessed in June, 1993.
